How can you trust us?

If you're starting a fresh relationship with a copywriter, how can you be sure they're up to the task?

The traditional answer is the portfolio. You tell us what sort of work you're looking for, and we send you examples of what we've done before. This sort of works, but it doesn't tell a complete story - what was the brief, the urgency, the ease or not of the working relationship ... can we apply our skills to your challenges?

Just recently we found a quite different answer, and it turned out very well. A new potential client approached us and several other writers via LinkedIn. They saw our sample work, but they still weren't sure how to choose the right supplier, and how to be sure that we could successfully undertake the very important task of refreshing their web site.

So we offered a fixed price appraisal of the content currently on their site. No commitment to a future deal. We simply spent a day looking at how the site currently worked or not for potential customers, and what we would suggest could improve it. Was it too busy? Was the flow through to sale obvious? Did the front page grab attention and explain exactly what the company was offering? Were there keywords and were they working?

This report went down a storm. This client actually took hold of our report and used it as the basis for their plan to move their marketing onto a new level. As a result, we've spent a great deal more time over the last few months talking about how they're approaching their market, than in actually writing words.

Today the client has a clear view of what they want to do with their web site, and how they're going to achieve that. It's all going well.

If you'd like us to give you a fixed price appraisal of your marketing collateral - not just web sites but brochures, data sheets, anything you use to sell - just get in touch using the contact box on this site.
