What's in a name?

Twenty years ago, when we were setting up Wrightwell, we did the usual brainstorm about getting the name right. (Apparently brainstorm is a non-PC word now, as it may offend those who have seizures, but I can'r remember what I was told was the preferred term..)

I liked Wrightwell. After all, I write well. But 20 years ago, we didn't have search engines. It didn't really matter if people mispelt your business name. They weren't likely to get the web site for a competitor with a close spelling. Now I'm not so sure it was the right choice.

Another problem - it starts with a W. In alphabetical listings we're close to the end.

Both lessons learned and if I was starting again, I might think again. However, we are well known and we have a great reputation. So re-branding with a new name makes no sense. We're staying with Wrightwell.
